Accusative is referred to the direct object. I.e. the person or item the action of the verb is adressed. I love you. You is accusative. I eat an apple. An apple is accusative. Dative is referred to an indirect object to which the action of the verb is adressed. I am talking TO you. YOU is dative.

Akkusative is direct object and Dative is indirect object (same as English).

The nominative case refers to the subject of a sentence, the accusative case refers to the direct object, and the dative case refers to the indirect object.

The student gave the teacher his report.
