Can anybody tell me the difference between house and home?

"House" is just a material thing, the place where you live. "Home" is build with the love of your family. As this phrase says... You can buy a house, but not a home :)

It's simple: house is a building, but home is a place.

House is the place you live But actually home is your family. Reason: what does it mean; I feel homesick. Means: I miss my family. Or Feel at home (don't shame feel you'r in family)

A house is just like an empty place made of bricks and cement, but home is warm and have a chimney active and burning.

"House" is constructed by money but "Home" is impossible to construct by money.

such as Bangla is my "Home"land, I love my "Home"land so "Home"land is not make by money. On the other hand,

This is my "House", I love my "House".

it is possible to make by money.

Our living place is called "House"

Our living area is called "Home"

House is a place where no one lives. Home is a place where someone lives

A house is not a home but a home can be in a house or any dedicated place. One can live in a house but a house might be not a home for him/her. A home is where one feels a sense of belonging; full of laughter, peace, joy, sense of humor, comfort, caring and sharing among others, parents, siblings, friends... Bur above all, a home is where LOVE beckons one to be and saying, ''East or West, Home is Best'' no matter how fancy or plain it may be. My brother's little son had a t-shirt written, ''When things go tough, I go to grandpa and grandma'' which to me sounds like...going home when things turn upside down. So, comfort and reliaf are found but in a home, not in a house!

A house is the building that you reside in, whereas a home is where you have a strong connection to. It is where you feel safe, warm, protected, sheltered and welcomed. It is where you have many good memories but also some bad ones. It is where you feel free to laugh and it is where your family is. It is a place that you have hade your own.
