The maths teacher was my favourite or The maths teacher was my favourite teacher or The maths teacher was my favourite one (one?) and... it´d be:

           The maths teacher   or
           Maths teacher

maths is not written with a capital letter.

but if I want to start one phrase, how do you write? The maths teacher or Maths teacher? Thanks ahenus
