What mean figured in this sentence, figured it mean thing or not ?!!!!

It means that person knows the answer.

 

For example:

After thorough observation of the crime scene, the policemen figured it out that it was indeed an inside job.

If I figured it out, I discovered the answer to something I didn't know before.

"I figured it out! 2 + 2 = 4!"
