Parts of a Business Letter:

  • Sender's Address (included in letterhead)
  • Date 
  • Inside Address (the recipient's address)
  • Salutation (for example: Dear Lucy)
  • Body (it should be: clear, concise, courteous)
  • Closing  (for example: Thank you) 
  • Enclosures (As an option, you may list the name of each document you are including in the envelope)
