Accelerate: The action of pushing the accelerator pedal to make a vehicle move faster.

Decelerate: The action of pushing the brake pedal to make a vehicle move more slowly

Traffic jamwhen too many cars are on the road and the traffic stops moving.

Crosswalk: A marked path where people can safely walk across a street or road —called also pedestrian crossing.

Driver: The person who controls a car, truck, or bus.

Pedestrian: A person who is walking in a city, along a road, etc.

Intersection: where two or more roads meet 

Residential area: an area with many houses where many people live

One-way street: A street where drivers can only move in one direction

Passenger: A person who travels in transportation but does not control it

Driver ‘s license: A document permitting a person to drive a motor vehicle
