We're having an exam tomorrow and I want to know how to negate a sentence. I got confused on what to change in the sentence and to where should I put the word "not" or "never."

Hoping to get a quick response...

If you want to negate a verb you should put "Not" or "never" in front of the verb.

For Example: I do like pizza. vs. I do NOT like pizza.

I go to sleep at 10. vs. I NEVER go to sleep at 10.
