I want to say future in the past. for example I will do something tomorrow but I didn't do anything yesterday. I mean future and past should be together in the same sentence.

give us some time to add more specifications on this question, but first you need understand that we can express the future in the past by using the present or past conditional, then if you say: i should complete or i should have completed my studies this year. you mean that, you planed to complete in a certain time of the future(this year) compare to a certain time of the past but you didn't, then, it's a future in the past. thanks for now.
