I could not get native people answer this... let see: I need a word for the relation between the mother of a child and the child's godmother

A child has a mother, a god mother and god father.

Generally, sisters or very close friends...

in Argentina we have a special name for the relation between the mother, and the person chosen to e the godmother..however, I could not get the name of that relation in English.

Actually, in Spain, we don't have a word to define that relationship.

In Spanish - comadre. No equivalent in English.

The same in Puerto Rico, we call each other "Comadre" and "Compadre" though people from the "woods" or from the "mountains" would use the slang "comay" and "compay". Like you, I've been looking for that word in English with no success.
