I would like to know if one could say this. Is this grammatically incorrect?
There isn't a lot of people vs. There aren't a lot of people.
In English, 'people' is the plural for 'person', although you can also say 'persons'. Therefore, you must use a verb in the plural form, being the correct answer THERE AREN'T A LOT/ LOTS OF PEOPLE.
I hope I helped you :)
