"She knows how to love me, yes indeed!" He could not have used "of course" there. Why not? Yes indeed means: that's how it is, I know it's true. Of course means: But naturally, everyone can see that!

LaiPing, "blatant" is not a well-known word. It is less known than "indeed" or "of course" so it does not help much.
