This is a very hard question to answer. There are 14 marks, but they each can have a different use. I hate to post a link, but there is too much to type. Read this.


Considering that there are 7,106 living languages in the world, the total number of punctuation marks is in the hundreds.  Every language has its own set of punctuation marks. Even if two or more languages share the same set of marks, they may be used differently. For example, in French, colons, semicolons, exclamation points, and question marks are all preceded by a space.  In English, there is no space before the mark.


You should start learning and practicing English, you should be aware of the Punctuation marks in English
