What is the difference between home and house?

Is it correct to say my home or my house

is it related to the place or the country ?

Home refers to the activicy that takes place inside a house. Home is more abtract whereas house is physical. For example - Look at my house; its very beautiful! I miss my home.

If you get love, affection, protection and warmth, it is home. But house is merely a building made up of cement, sand, bricks,etc... You can sell a house. Eg. House for sale.. Its not possible for homes.. Eg. Home for orphans..
